Savita Varde-Naqvi brings not only a theory-driven approach to Behaviour and Social Change Communication and Programme Management, but a diverse field experience as a journalist, humanitarian activist and a development professional. She has worked with and left behind empowered teams in a career that spans over 30 years of international experience in planning, negotiating, developing, implementing, managing and evaluating communications, C4D and Programme initiatives with a rights based and gender responsive approach in diverse, multi-cultural contexts. Savita has contributed extensively to build individual and institutional capacities, raising quality standards of local, national and international programmes with technical expertise and practical, on-the-job coaching. Her interests includes: leveraging inter-sector synergies, multi-media platforms and collaborative partnerships to strengthen M&E, accountability and resilience for improved risk mitigation and sustainable results.
